It’s designed for use with axles, shafts and wheels and can support high-velocity rotation as well as linear motion. It consists of a single row of balls, rotating between an inner and outer ring. The unit’s deep-groove construction means the balls are similar in size to the smooth 5mm raceway, so the fit’s snug and friction is minimised. This also allows the unit to support higher forces with improved stability.
